The E31B Visa is a family stay visa (KITAS) specifically for spouses of foreign nationals who already hold a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) or a Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) in Indonesia. It allows the spouse to live in Indonesia legally alongside their partner. You can apply for the E31B Visa if you are married to someone who holds a valid KITAS or KITAP in Indonesia (e.g., foreign workers, investors, students, remote workers, retirees, Golden Visa holders). Your marriage must generally be recognized and documented — for example with a marriage certificate that’s officially translated into Indonesian or in English.
Document Requirement:
- Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months.
- Proof of living expenses of at least US$2000 (two thousand American dollars) or equivalent.
- Latest color photograph.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Travel Itinerary.
- Proof of guarantee from the Guarantor or a statement of commitment from the husband or wife
- Marriage certificate or marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator except those that have been written in English
- A valid Limited Stay Permit/Permanent Stay Permit or Limited Stay Visa of the husband or wife.

EXTENSION :
IDR 10,000,000 (INCLUDE VISA FEE, SPONSORSHIP, AND AGENT’S FEE). This process requires you to visit the nearest immigration office to have your photo taken for each extension process.
